Collin is trying to beat the sun before it goes down for the night. I had gotten off work late from Boot Barn and I really wanted to have my graduation pictures in the family's almond orchard during bloom. So Collin was rushing as fast as he could, but little did he know that I accidentally found the ring box in the pocket of his vest the night before. I wanted to open up the box so bad, but I resisted and I could not break it to Collin that I happen to figure out the reason behind wanting to go home so badly. Collin and I finally reach Peach Avenue, where the Abraham family's almond orchards begin. He takes a left hand turn in a block of almonds that I am not familiar with; finds a row that he likes the best as the sun is sinking down. I am nervously trying not to stare at Collin as he is trying to secretly take my ring out of the box. Collin opens up my door and helps me out of the Toyota. He grabs my hand and walks me down a row while saying "Do you know why you are here, why I brought you here?". The tears start rolling down my face and I say "Yes I do know". Collin gets down on one knee and tells me "Crestina, I love you more than you will ever know and I will do my best to express it each and everyday. I am ready if you are... I want you to be the first thing every morning and the last person I see every night. I can not go another day without you as my wife. You are my best friend. Crestina Maria Batchelor, will you marry me?" as he is slipping on my engagement ring. I start crying and said "YES!".
