We met at a Clemson football game in September of 2019 while we were both students there. Courtney was a sophomore and Collin was a junior. We were introduced by our lovely mutual friend and bridesmaid, Jennifer. Jen and Courtney had been with their friends in a different section and did not join the boys until the last quarter of the game. Courtney sat in between Collin and his friend. She put her hand on Collin's shoulder to "steady herself" when standing up (what a flirt!). Collin attempted to hide his sunburn behind a hat. It was a brief interaction, but it clearly made an impact!

When our college friends decided to get together for a Clemson football game in November of 2023, Collin knew it was the perfect opportunity to propose. It was where we met! He quickly got to work selecting and ordering a ring, hiring a photographer, and sharing his plans with our friends and family. Collin proposed on campus, with our friends and family present, before the game. After a Clemson win, we had dinner and celebrated together.

Courtney fostered three kittens while at Clemson. One captured our hearts and became ours. Our favorite memory is the first few weeks with baby Britney. We spent every weekend watching Lost, making Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies, and playing with Britney. She often tried to steal our cookies.
