Alyssa and Cody met in middle school. They quickly became each other’s crush as they bonded over similar interests in books, movies, and music; however, Cody was not allowed to date until he turned 16. After much time had passed, Alyssa and Cody finally had their first official double date with Holly (maid of honor) and Cody T (best man) in 2013. Alyssa and Cody went on to graduate from Brighton High School, attend Middle Tennessee State University, and eventually move back to Memphis. Today, Cody is a teacher, and Alyssa is a risk management analyst. They live happily in Germantown with their Italian Greyhound, Gambino.
