Question

What should I pack?

Answer

HIGHLY ENCOURAGE to just bring a carry-on suitcase and bag. Flip flops, bathing suits, sunglasses, hats, lots of sunscreen - it's a very casual island! The weather will be warm and windy. Think long, flowy, colorful dresses for women and linen suits (no tie) for men. https://www.pinterest.com/katcollectivehouse/a%2Bb-wedding/ GoPros and drones are encouraged!

Question

How do I get to Scrub Island?

Answer

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED FLIGHTS: Transfer for EIS (Tortola airport) to Scrub is included in your stay and arranged for you. The Scrub Island team will be reaching out to you (with whatever contact info you provided when you booked rooms) to get your flight information. After you land and go through customs, there will be a car outside to take you to the dock (3 minute car ride). From there a Scrub Island boat will pick you up and bring you to the island (only a 5 minute boat ride). IF YOU NEED TO BOOK FLIGHTS: There are several flight options to consider: Fly into Tortola: One option is to fly directly into Tortola (EIS). There are a few ways to do this: - Direct flight from Miami: American Airlines offers a convenient direct flight from Miami (MIA) to Tortola. - Via San Juan: You can also fly into San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), and catch a connecting flight to Tortola. Just be careful with layover times when choosing this option to avoid any travel delays. Fly into St. Thomas and take a ferry: Another route is to fly into St. Thomas (STT) and then take a ferry to Scrub Island. Private ferry from STT to Scrub is the best option, as the public high speed ferry can significantly lengthen your travel day. We suggest splitting a private ferry with other wedding guests if you choose this option. Call Scrub Island at 877-890-7444 and they will arrange it for you. Flights can range from $500 and up for a round trip, so we highly recommend using a flight tracker app like Hopper to find the best deals and monitor price changes.

Question

How can I charter a boat?

Answer

We are arranging a boat day Friday where we can all anchor up near each other, snorkel, have lunch, and explore the islands. You can also create your own itinerary as there is much to do and see. If you would like information and pricing on the boat charter options, please reach out to Anna Leigh or Bryce. Snorkel and Scuba is also a great way to explore! Visit https://divebvi.com/ or call +1 284-394-3440 to book.
