Explore Augusta

Welcome to Augusta! Augusta is Collier's hometown and the home of the Masters Tournament! Below is a curated list of our favorite eateries and things to do whenever we are home. We are so excited to share our little corner of the world with you this weekend! For additional tips and ideas on things to do, please visit VisitAugusta.com.

Surrey Center

449 Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA 30909

From dining to shopping, Surrey Center has it all! The tiered shopping center boats quite a few restaurants and shopping for all ages. For dinner or lunch, our Surrey Center favorites are TakoSushi, Abel Brown, and Olivianas! Finch & Fifth is perfect for drinks and tapas and Bodega Ultima is known for its brunch. For women's clothing, check out One. for closet staples and statement pieces and Shoes at Surrey for the latest footwear styles. For men, Rivers & Glen Trading Co. and Gentry offer a selection of sports, casual, and dress wear. For home goods and unique decor, meander into Charleston Street, Design Images & Gifts, and Angevine's! If you are looking for a spa treatment or two, Cucumber & Mint is the local favorite for self-care.

Capsule

3626 Walton Way Extension, Augusta, GA 30909
, (706) 869-2061

A clothing store near and dear to Collier's (and her mom Sheri's!) heart! Capsule always has a host of one-of-a-kind statement pieces and everything from the Saturday casual to black tie attire.

Downtown Augusta

211 10th Street, Augusta, GA 30901

Downtown Augusta has undergone revitalization over the last decade. When Collier was growing up, downtown Augusta was desolate. Today, it is a vibrant community with amazing restaurants! Our favorites are The Bees Knees (tapas!), Nacho Mama (Mexican!), The Boll Weevil Cafe and Sweetery (desserts!), Craft & Vine, and Frog Hollow Tavern.

Get Outside

2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904

Collier and Chris love to exercise and running is one way they spend time together. Growing up, Collier's usual run included part of the Augusta University History Walk, a one-mile loop around the scenic campus and Summerville that's perfect for runners, walkers, bikers, and strollers. Summerville (also known as "The Hill") is an area of Augusta that came to be in the early 1800s when Augusta residents on the Savannah River would move "up to the hill" during the summer months to escape the threat of malaria. Historic homes and churches make up picturesque Summerville. Walton Way, the main thoroughfare through Summerville, is lined with sidewalks so runners and walkers can easily get outside, enjoy nice weather, and Summerville views.

Cocktails, Beers, and More Food

2111 Kings Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904

If you are looking for unique drink spot, look no further than the Veranda at the Partridge Inn. It is our favorite and oozes Southern charm. Becks, our go-to for seafood in Augusta, and Sheehans, Augusta's local Irish pub, both have amazing cocktails and fabulous food. Other fun, casual bars are the Indian Queen and Southbound Smokehouse.
