FAQs

The Wedding Website of Vincent Campanaro and Christina Colletti
Feel free to message us personally with any questions. We highly recommend checking out Ginnie Springs website for many details!
Question

No pets or children

Answer

Please and thank you.

Question

Are food and drinks provided?

Answer

There will be a "serve yourself buffet" and bar available after the ceremony. We plan to have a “bbq” on Friday at the dogwood pavilion, but please bring your own preference of food and drinks.

Question

What should you bring?

Answer

You may want to bring your own lawn chair for Saturday. We can’t guarantee a seat for eating either. There will be several picnic tables around for informal seating. Also, although we will provide plastic wear and cups, we encourage you to bring a personal drinking cup for refilling your drink. For those of you coming Friday, plan to bring bathing suits and a change of clothes. The public bathrooms are really nice and have showers if you plan to hang out after the day in the water. Plan to also bring whatever food or drinks you’d like for that day. Those of you camping or staying later… you know what to do.

Question

What should you wear for the wedding?

Answer

We are hoping everyone is in comfortable attire. Please not suites and ties, or heels. Christina will be in a dress and Vinny will be in a short sleeve button up. Feel free to wear short sleeves, shorts, or a sundress. Sandals are fine as well.

Question

Where exactly is the ceremony?

Answer

The celebration will be held at the dogwood pavilion and along the spring. If you park near the dogwood pavilion, walk towards the pavilion an immediate left. Continue walking toward the Santa Fe river with the dogwood spring on your right. You will reach the reserved campsite area where we will be hitched, facing out towards the river. Exact coordinates are 29.82440° N, 82.65716° W

Question

Want to camp!?!?

Answer

Please camp with us! Check out the details for camping at ginnie springs here: https://ginniespringsoutdoors.com/tent-sites/ Ginnie springs does not take camping reservations for single tent campers, it’s first come first serve and charged per person. RV campsites can be reserved in advanced through a different website: https://www.reserveamerica.com/ More helpful planning sites can be found under the “lodging” tab of our website.

Question

May I attend the wedding without camping?

Answer

Ginnie springs offers a daily rate that will expire by sundown; 5:30 pm. So we recommend everyone gets a "camp pass" so you will be able to come and go as you please, no matter the time.

Question

Tell me about tubing

Answer

Most guests enter the water at the Beaver’s Landing river access point with a tube or raft, and spend an hour or so floating down the river to the Tube Exit at Twin Spring. When you exit at Twin Spring, follow the Tube Trail and back to the Ginnie Spring parking lot, it’s about a fifteen-minute walk. Tube rentals are available at the Ginnie Springs General Store. There is a free air fill station for tubes and rafts if you choose to bring your own. TUBE RENTALS Single Tube $7.00 (per day) Double Tube $14.00 (per day)

Question

Can I canoe, kayak, or paddle board?

Answer

Yes! We prefer this method to control the direction we are going! You can bring your own or rent. Canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle boards are rented from the rental department in the general store. Be sure to paddle upstream when you begin your paddling trip and return the vessel to the launch site, as there is no pick-up service available. Rentals stop by 2:00 PM. Rental vessels are not allowed to be out after dark, and are due back by 5:00 p.m. Canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals include life vests and paddles. Guests must rent vessel by 2 p.m. for 3-hour canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle board rental. Guests must rent vessel by 11 a.m. for 6-hour canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle board rental. Canoe/Kayak Paddles $6.00 (free with canoe/kayak rental) Personal Floatation Devices FREE Canoe or Kayak – 3 hours $15.00 Paddle board – 3 hours $15.00 Canoe or Kayak – 6 hours $30.00 Paddle board – 6 hours $30.00

Question

Snorkel and Fin rentals

Answer

Due to COVID-19, Ginnie springs is not renting mask/snorkel package or fins at this time. However, snorkeling and scuba diving are very common in the springs. If you are able to provide your own gear, we highly recommend bringing them.

Question

Bathroom, water, electric and trash

Answer

Trash cans are everywhere for the public with green trash bags. Large dumpsters are available if you camp and collect your own trash. Fresh water spouts and trash cans can be found at nearly each street light. Lots of them around. The pavilions outlet will be utilized for our sound system and lights. But electric is available if you reserve a “water and electric” campsite. All regular campsites are “first come, first serve” and do not have their own water and electric. Bathrooms are close and have showers, toilets with one outlet. However, ladies be aware there are no mirrors if you plan to get ready there. Two Portable toilets are located right outside the pavilion.
