What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! If you are staying at the Inn on Boltwood or any other local hotel, please feel free to check in to your hotel before the event and explore the area! There are a number of local breweries, there's a farmers market across the street from the Inn on Boltwood on Saturday from 11AM to 1PM, and you're only a short drive from Northampton where you can find additional shopping and amenities.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place outdoors. During the ceremony, there will be little shade (don't forget to wear your sunscreen!). The reception will be held under a tent and fans will be available depending on the weather conditions

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be taking place outside of the Inn on Boltwood, in a secluded grassy area under a beautiful pergola. The reception will follow under a spectacular tent, just a few yards from the ceremony

When should I RSVP by?

Please mail back the RSVPs included in your invitation to Rachel and Jeffrey by July 24, 2021

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry through Zola and Amazon! Please see the tab at the top of the website labeled "Registry" for more details and for a link to our Amazon Registry

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (with the exception of our nieces and nephew) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is free at the Inn on Boltwood. Upon arrival, please look for a parking assistant to direct you to the parking lot

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block available to our guests at the Inn on Boltwood for a 2 night stay minimum. Additionally, we have a room block available at the Courtyard by Marriot Hadley Amherst Hotel, which is only a 1 night minimum stay. The Courtyard by Marriot Hadley Amherst Hotel is located 1.4 miles from the Inn on Boltwood. I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, food allergies, etc.) please let Rachel or Jeffrey know so that the culinary staff can make appropriate accommodations for you

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both located at the Inn on Boltwood. We encourage guests to also stay at the Inn, however, if you plan on staying at another location, there will not be additional transportation provided

Will food and drinks be available?

Answer

Our event will include a cocktail hour with delicious hand-passed hors devours. Dinner will include a 3 course meal consisting of a salad, an entrée of your choice (indicated on your RSVP card), and wedding cake from a local bakery. For alcoholic beverages, there will be a cash bar available to guests

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, however, after we are pronounced Mr. & Mrs. we encourage guests to take photos and post on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GettingDemerried so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Due to COVID 19, The Inn on Boltwood is no longer offering a breakfast in their restaurant. Brunch is available beginning at 10:30AM in the restaurant, reservations are required.
