It all started through mutual friends, as many good things do. From there, our first dates were a mix of fun and friendly competition. Think bowling with our couple friends, doubles tennis on Tuesdays, and plenty of nights at Rosalita’s, where we may have had one too many margaritas. We spent many nights cheering on the Blues during their playoff runs, always with plenty of friends and belting Gloria. After a couple of months of these bowling nights and competitive tennis matches, Tyler decided it was time to make things official. On December 9th, in the very same bowling alley where we’d spent so many of our first dates, Tyler asked Collette to be his girlfriend. Since then, we’ve been fortunate to explore the world together—from the beaches of Hawaii and Florida to the enchanting streets of Barcelona. It was in Barcelona, at the beautiful Parc del Laberint d'Horta, where Tyler proposed. We spent the afternoon walking through the park, and like something out of a movie, he carved our initials into a tree before getting down on one knee. We've also gone whale watching in Cape Cod, celebrated our friends' weddings in Dallas and New Orleans, and even experienced the magic of Harry Potter World. We've made unforgettable memories on trips, but some of our favorite moments are the simple ones, like heading to the golf course after work for a quick 9 holes. Tyler’s working on improving his golf game (though he’s not quite a pro yet), while Collette rides along with her book, happy just to be together. But our absolute favorite memory? That would be the day we brought our puppy, Fitz, into our lives. He’s been the perfect addition to our little family, bringing endless joy and a bit of chaos (in the best way possible). As our wedding day in October approaches, we’ve been reflecting on all the memories we’ve made and the journey that brought us here. It’s been full of laughter, love, and a few gutter balls, and we know the best is still yet to come. We’re so excited for all the adventures that lie ahead, and even more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you by our side.
