In true Millennial form, we met online via none other than Tinder. Yes, Tinder! Both looking for something we weren't finding in our respective circles, we entered the jaws of online dating and and put all our trust into either swiping right or left.
Despite the freezing cold, I made my way to Disney Springs with the thought that I would watch from afar and see how Russell interacted before deciding whether I would actually introduce myself. I sat on a bench not far from the center stage, and looked at how he interacted with everyone, Then he noticed me.. I wish I could say he knew it was me, but ladies and gentleman, my soon to be husband will admit that he did not recognize me yet. Entertained, I watched Russell continuously glance my way, giving me one of the most flirtatious looks I had ever seen. The look of recognition and hand-wave came not long after that. To this day we have yet to decide whether I should be flattered by him checking me out without realizing it was me, or insulted he was checking someone out while waiting for a date haha ;) If singing for me wasn't enough, at the end of the event he played one last song for me while we danced under the stars. Not wanting to say our goodbyes, we did what any other classy individual would at 2 A.M in the morning; drove to Waffle House and ate breakfast. The rest, as they say, is history ❣️
