FAQs

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to the bride or groom directly.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Via our wedding website! Under the "RSVP" tab, you will find individual RSVPs for each event of our wedding weekend!

Question

Will there be transportation services from my hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided as the hotel block where the bride and groom will book is conveniently located within walking distance to both the ceremony AND reception. If you choose to stay further away from the historical downtown Savannah, we recommend using Uber or Lyft.

Question

Are the venues wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Both The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist and The Knights of Columbus have elevators. Reach out to the bride and groom personally for exact locations.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

It will be July in Savannah... it's going to be HOT. Dress respectfully for the church and comfortably for the weather. Dresses for women and collared shirts for men are appropriate. Most of our wedding festivities will be held indoors.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

It will be notated on the addressing of your invitation as your name "and guest" or your significant other's name.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, but you are in charge of your plans! Bring the kiddos if you would like, however, make arrangements if you would prefer to celebrate accordingly at the reception. For children aged 4-12, a kid's entree will be provided at dinner with an appropriate RSVP.

Question

What if I am not Catholic?

Answer

You are still invited to our wedding! There will be prayers recited you may not know, but no worries, we are still thrilled to have you at our special day! All we ask is that you do not receive the Eucharist (aka: the bread and wine/body and blood) as this is a holy sacrament that requires preparation in our religion. Thank you in advance!

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom kindly ask that you refrain from using your personal device while in a place of worship. No need to fret! We have made arrangements with a photographer so no one misses a thing.

Question

Will there be a gap between your ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes. A one and a half hour time slot has been set aside for the bride and groom to get pictures with family; this includes uncles, aunts, cousins, and wedding party. In the meantime, explore our beautiful city and GET READY TO PARTAYY!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions/allergies?

Answer

Upon request during the RSVP process, guests can notate any dietary restrictions and/or allergies. All requests will be sent to our caterer for an alternative option.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

It's our wedding day. Yes, there will be an open bar.

Question

What will happen if I wear a white dress to the wedding?

Answer

I will personally dump the reddest wine I can find on you. If you wear a white-adjacent dress, you will get red-adjacent wine. -Love, Alex :)
