The town of Davidson, home to Tony's Alma Mater Davidson College, has quaint shops and restaurants. Take a stroll on Main Street and make sure to stop in at The Davidson Soda Shop- an old-fashioned soda shop that opened in 1951.
You are only about 30 minutes to the Queen City, Charlotte, where there is something for everyone! Charlotte is home to art museums, Discovery Place for the little ones, the Blumenthal theater, fabulous restaurants, and professional sports teams.
Two hours west of Lake Norman is an eclectic area called Asheville, NC, which has the Biltmore Estate, breweries & shopping.
About 3 hours east is the fabulous city of Charleston. It has beautiful beaches and some of the top restaurants in the southeast.
