Their story begins as most love stories do...chaperoning an elementary school field trip. Sometime between permission slips and keeping the kids in line, Colleen struck up the conversation and they instantly hit it off. A few weeks later they found themselves together again at trivia night with close friends. Following an awkward good bye to Meg & Austin, they stayed chatting in the parking lot and the sparks were still flying. They realized they shared many of the same interests including traveling, hiking, and tacos among many others. Not long after, Colleen sent Mike a text inviting him out to watch a Rangers game with her and her friends, a bold move, considering she doesn’t actually watch hockey and couldn’t have told you the score if her life depended on it. Fortunately, Mike showed up anyway, and it turns out neither of them were really there for the game. From that night on, they haven’t looked back.
