Luke and Colleen met through a mutual friend, Lauren, with whom Luke played intramural soccer. Colleen had jokingly referred to him as "Sexy O-Chem boy" after he had (tried) to help her with organic chemistry. Flash forward several months both end up out in Minneapolis for Lauren's birthday. By the end of the night, Luke asked Colleen out for a date. She had to check her schedule but ultimately said yes. Luke wooed Colleen with laser tag and dinner out. Almost nine years later, the rest is history!
