The Wedding Website of Levi Logstrom and Colleen Henn
Our wedding is at East Hampton Point in Springs, a beautiful wooded community on the bayside of East Hampton. East Hampton is ~2.5 hrs east of Manhattan within "the East End," which we were lucky to call home. We're hosting a welcome party Friday night, the big day on Saturday, and a brunch on Sunday. Ideally, you'd either stay near NYC Thursday night and commute east on Friday, or just stay out east Thu-Sun. Pro tips: 1) Don't fly into Newark 2) Traffic going east is bad after noon on Fridays. 3) For our west-coasters, it is NOT possible to stay in NYC and commute out. Book your accommodations ASAP because prices in the Hamptons can be *quite* expensive and options are limited. Our venue has rooms available for rent if you have room in your budget. We recommend getting in touch with other guests you know and booking group accommodations via Airbnb/VRBO for more cost effective room options. Reach out to Levi and Colleen if you need help with this process!

Travel Note

Getting There: The Hampton Jitney

To get to East Hampton, you can take the Jitney, a bus that cruises from Manhattan to the Hamptons. It stops in Queens to pick up people arriving at JFK & LaGuardia. We recommend prepaying to secure your seat- they tend to fill up quickly! If leaving from Manhattan, we recommend departing from the "40TH ST - MONTAUK AND AMBASSADOR" on 40th between Lexington and 3rd in front of Shake Shack Midtown East. If leaving from JFK or Laguardia, take an Uber/Lyft to the "HAMPTON JITNEY EAST BOUND AIRPORT CONNECTION" stop, which is on Horace Harding Expressway in front of the AMC Fresh Meadows 7. The Jitney has two options; the Jitney or the Ambassador. The Jitney is the regular line ($49 onboard/ $41 prepaid). The Ambassador is nicer with good snacks and faster wifi ($75 onboard/$65 prepaid).

Train

Getting There: Long Island Railroad (LIRR)

If the schedule lines up with your travel plans, then the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) is a great option. If you're traveling from NYC, the LIRR is available from Penn Station and Grand Central Station. You may have to transfer at Jamaica Station, but it's an easy transfer and still recommended. If you're arriving at JFK, follow signs to the AirTrain, and ride it ~10 minutes to Jamaica Station. Transfer at Jamaica to the LIRR. If you're arriving at LaGuardia, you'll still need to get to Jamaica Station to catch the LIRR. You can take the bus, subway, or a 10-minute Uber.

House Or Rental

Lodging: Airbnb & VRBOs

Private home rentals tend to offer the best prices for lodging in the area, particularly if you are booking in a group. We highly recommend booking in Springs (the circled area of the map in the photo above), with secondary options being Northwest Woods (to the west of Springs across Three Mile Harbor) or Amagansett. Vrbo and Airbnb both have plenty of options, but we recommend booking ASAP.We have embedded an Airbnb link with the search parameters in the "View" button below.
