Things To DoThings To Do

Some of our favorite places & some things to do while you're in town! The Waterfront Festival is down on Water St. on our wedding day (We booked first!), but if you have some time beforehand it may be fun to walk through. Runs 10am to 6pm, but remember to be to St. Peter's for the ceremony to start at 2pm! The whole downtown area is a nice place to walk with shops and restaurants and breweries to explore! Plymouth does have the Circut ride - if you go online or download the app you can use it for free rides during the daytime! There is Nelson Beach which has beach access and a playground. Nearby parking lots available - if full look put in Pioppi's it will bring you to a large parking lot an easy walk away. 30 Knapp Ter, Plymouth, MA 02360-4015 There is also newly renovated Stephens Field with pickleball and tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic tables, and a playground that is right on the water as well - just a bit more rocky! 132 Sandwich St, Plymouth, MA 02360-2402

Delicious small restaurant with a farm to table menu! Across the street is their cocktail bar Honey Baby and is a great spot as well with a nice lounge and bar atmosphere.

Speedwell TavernSpeedwell Tavern

47 Main Street, Plymouth, MA 02360

Probably the best WINGS in Plymouth! Bride loves the gold digger sauce and groom's favorite if classic buffalo! This restaurant is surrounded by plenty of other good options as well whether you're looking for a bar or a bite!

Rod & RailRod & Rail

149 Main Street, Bourne, MA 02532

Kyle & Colleen's First Date! Bit of a drive from Plymouth and beware of Cape traffic, but if you find yourself in Buzzards Bay, it's a great spot!

Ziggy'sZiggy's

120 Water Street, Plymouth, MA 02360

This may be the best, longest standing Ice Cream staple in downtown Plymouth! Fedele's has soft serve, Kilwin's and B's homemade Ice cream are all a short distance away and also well worth the visit!

Plimoth Patuxet MuseumsPlimoth Patuxet Museums

137 Warren Avenue, Plymouth, MA 02360

This is the Museum that sheds light on the founding of Plimouth and the travels of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans who lived here. Have grounds to walk on and see a historical settling of the 1620s. If this was something you wanted to do, the Mayflower (downtown Plymouth) does offer a package deal (or individual) for tours.

For those who are out of town! The Rock is on the same street and you can check both off the list if that's something you wanted to do!

Captain John BoatsCaptain John Boats

10 Town Wharf, Plymouth, MA 02360

I love these boat rides to either see whales, or go deep sea fishing, or ferries across to P-Town (depending on if you have time for a day trip).

Ghost ToursGhost Tours

Plymouth, MA 02360

Dead of Night Ghost Tours - classic thing to do while in town, though the bride will probably never go!

Bramhall's Country StoreBramhall's Country Store

2 Sandwich Road, Plymouth, MA 02360

This has the BEST lobster roll - and once a year I treat myself to the XLarge lobster roll - its worth it! Love to come here and bring lunch to the beach after! Has a cute country store attached and some nice space with picnic tables.

Plymouth Long BeachPlymouth Long Beach

1 Ryder Way, Plymouth, MA 02360

Believe $15 to park for out of towners - cash. Sandy's restaurant is right on the beach as well.

Squirrel Run Country ClubSquirrel Run Country Club

32 Elderberry Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360

Plenty of golf courses in the area - this is a great Par 3 and may be a better option for a quick 9! This course really taught me how to play & has become a favorite of Kyle, my Dad, and mine.

Wood's SeafoodWood's Seafood

The Classic New England Seafood Spot!! Nearby is Cabby Shack and Anna's as well - all highly recommended.

Dunbar House Tea Room & Wine BarDunbar House Tea Room & Wine Bar

1 Water Street, Sandwich, MA 02563

A perfect spot for tea and breakfast or lunch! Depending on your travel plans, this restaurant is over the bridge (Cape traffic at times), but is well worth it. It is also located next to the Sandwich Glass Museum if you wanted something to do before or after! May need a reservation.

Mirbeau Inn & Spa - Plymouth, MAMirbeau Inn & Spa - Plymouth, MA

35 Landmark Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360

Need reservations possibly months in advance, but if you'd like some rest and relaxation, we've been coming for our anniversary and love it!

Another spot if you need a little rest & relaxation! Close to downtown and Colleen-approved!

Pinehills Golf ClubPinehills Golf Club

54 Clubhouse Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360

This is the golf course at the same site at the reception - we can't wait to plan a day golfing here! Has two 18-hole championship courses - so I'd bet no quick nine here! Hope you can fit it in!
