Is there a dress code?

Yes, dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. The reception is indoors however the ceremony is planned to be on the outdoor patio. PLEASE NOTE: THE CEREMONY IS OUTDOORS, PLEASE BRING A NICE COAT,HAT AND GLOVES

What time is the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is at 3:30pm on January 25th, 2025. Please plan to arrive early at the Great Hall located on the 2nd floor of the hotel before heading to the outdoor roof patio located off the Great Hall.

Why Saranac Lake, NY? Travel tips?

Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake NY is located near Lake Placid, NY which Colleen and Keith enjoy spending ample time in during Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. We hope you get to enjoy the surrounding towns during your time here. We want everyone to arrive safely so please be aware that local police strictly enforce speed limits. For your safety and to avoid tickets, we recommend sticking to the posted speed limits especially on rural roads and coming off the highway into town.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Ceremony and reception will be located at Hotel Saranac. No transportation is needed. If you choose to stay at an alternate location, transportation is not provided.

What weather should we expect?
Answer
We are hoping for a snowy winter wonderland! Saranac Lake in January is typically cold with temperatures often below freezing. Snow is likely, so please bundle up and be prepared for winter conditions. We recommend wearing warm layers, especially for the outdoor ceremony (20-30 min). Driving conditions may be unpredictable, please plan accordingly by planning ample time to arrive at the venue.
