Matron of Honor
Colleen and Emma Jo met through church. They joke that Emma Jo's mom set them up since she gave Colleen Emma Jo's number because she thought they would get along together well. She was right! They bonded over their faith, their appreciation for tea and baking, and love of the outdoors.
Best Man
Tom and Justin sat next to each other in a freshman English class at John Carroll University. They were both walking to the Cafe after class and decided to get lunch together followed by tennis. Tom and Justin hung out throughout the rest of college, were roommates for a semester, and have continued being great friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Colleen went to school together from kindergarten to 12th grade. Throughout the years, they made countless memories as classmates and friends. In college, they met up during breaks, and now they are always happy to catch up over coffee or on a walk with Katie's dog.
Groomsman
Matt is Colleen's beloved big brother. Her whole life, he has been there to make her laugh, drive her crazy, and be a great example for her to follow.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa is Justin's younger sister. They have been close their whole lives and enjoy going on family vacations, reading, going to St. Francis Xavier's young adult group, watching movies and many other hobbies.
Groomsman
Michael is Justin's brother in-law and Alyssa's husband. Justin met Michael after him and Alyssa started dating. Justin and Michael enjoy spending time with family and putting up with Alyssa's crazy schemes.
Bridesmaid
Maria and Colleen met when they were living with the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in Nashville, TN. Both of them felt called to consider religious life and spent two years in the convent before discerning that God's plans for them lie elsewhere. They have kept in touch since then even though they live a state apart.
Groomsman
Justin and Christoph met their freshman year at John Carroll. They were both in the same First Year Seminar class, but did not interact much at first. One day Christoph stopped by to talk to Tom while him and Justin were at lunch, and invited them to play tennis. They have been great friends ever since!
