Question

Are children welcomed?

Answer

Our venue on Saturday is in a large national park with a swiftly moving river to one side of the property and a water feature on site that does not offer a clear line of vision from the dance floor. For the safety of our favorite little humans, Saturday evening will be adults only.

Question

Can you accomodate my food allergies?

Answer

The bride is allergic to shellfish, sesame and tree nuts so there will be no dishes containing the same at the wedding. There will be gluten free appetizers and entrees at all of the functions. Please contact the bride and groom directly if you require any additional accomodations. Additionally, all of the restaurants mentioned in our Things To Do have always been very careful with dietary restrictions.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We will provide a shuttle to and from the listed events from our listed hotel. If you wish to rent a car, Enterprise has multiple offices near the venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday morning our Sikh ceremony is at the gudwara. Women will be expected to have a shawl or scarf to cover their heads and a long dress. If you choose to wear Punjabi attire the scarf will come with your outfit, otherwise a pashmina with a longer dress would be lovely. Men will be provided a head covering at the gudwara if they do not have one. Shoes are removed and we will have socks for the ladies. Please avoid the color red as that is traditionally reserved for the bride and groom. Friday evening is an evening of Punjabi food and dancing and we hope our guests will dress to impress in Indian partywear or festive cocktail attire. Comfortable shoes are suggested. The brides reception lehenga is ivory and she would be honored if you choose to rewear your own bridal looks. If you prefer not to, in the brides culture wearing blue is considered good luck & we feel very lucky to have you join us. Saturday you will join us at a historic property in Valley Forge National Park for our American wedding and we are requesting no white/ivory/cream attire for our guests. As it is a historic property with all associated wood and stone floors and a grass ceremony space, thin stilettos are not recommended. Please join us in your best and brightest formal and partywear. The bride wants to honor her mother, whose love of a great outfit was unmatched, by having the ladies wear their most fashionable frocks and favorite jewelry. It’s time to bring out the feathers, the flowers and the embellishment and disco the night away. Let’s boogie!

Question

What time is the ceremony if I don’t use the shuttle?

Answer

Please arrive at 10 on Friday and at 4 on Saturday. Valet is provided on Saturday

For all the days along the way
