What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire/Elegant Evening Wear; Black Tie is NOT required and is optional. Suits for men; long or elegant cocktail dresses for women please.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones unless explicitly stated in your invite. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions about your invitation.

Is there transportation from the Hotel to the Church and to the reception?

Answer

YES- There will be shuttle service for our guests needing a ride from the hotel(s) to the church. We ask that all guests are seated in the church NLT 1:40pm. The shuttle will depart the church immediately following the ceremony, to bring you back to your hotel to freshen up, then shuttle you to the Gawkins residence for our Cocktail hour at 4:00pm The shuttles will make two trips back to the hotels at the end of the evening. The first will depart at 9:00 and the second at 9:45pm.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes- of course! We are so excited to have ALL of our family at the wedding. There will be a separate buffet serving kids meals for those who prefer to have something separate from the main entre dishes and sides: to include chicken tenders, fruit salad, macaroni & cheese and tater tots.

Will there be high-chairs for my child?

Answer

Yes- we will make sure there are a number of high-chairs for our little guests!

Will there be bathrooms with it being an outdoor reception?

Answer

Yes- we will have several rest room trailers available to guests.

Will there be parking if I want to drive?

Answer

Yes- there is plenty of parking at the church. We ask that you park along Shelter Manor Drive at the Gawkins residence.
