How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please see the "RSVP" tab. Enter your last name or your first name and last name. If your name does not come up, try just using your last name or the name of someone else in your party.

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

Hors d' oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour. The first coarse will be an apple and goat cheese salad and bread rolls. The main meal will include filet mignon, prosciutto smoked pork lion, whipped sweet potatoes, and bacon parmesan brussel sprouts.

Kids Meals and Specialty Meals

Answer

The children's meal will include chicken tenders, house mac and cheese, apple sauce, and a dinner roll. If your child will need a grilled chicken instead of chicken tenders please state that on your RSVP. If you need a specialty meal (i.e. have any dietary restrictions/allergies or would like a vegetarian or vegan meal), please list that on your RSVP.

Where do I choose my meal option?

Answer

When you RSVP, using the RSVP tab. The meal options for each guest will appear when you select, "will attend". It will appear as a drop down menu. The main meal will be served family style (and the option is listed as "adult family style served meal). However, if you would like a children's meal, vegetarian, or vegan meal, please select those options in the drop down menu. If you any food allergies that we need to know about, please specify that under one of the questions on the RVSP page.

Is the ceremony and reception held at the same location?

Yes, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Pear Tree Estate.

What are the hotel options?

Answer

We have three hotel blocks set up for Friday night. Please see the "Hotel and Travel" tab. We list pricing and provide the guest code to use for booking. We do encourage you to book early as there is a home football game on Saturday (8/27/2022).

The hotel block rooms will be held until about a month before the wedding. We list the book by date on the "Hotel and Travel" tab for each hotel. We encourage you to book early as there is a home football game on Saturday (8/27/2022).

Are there other hotel options?

Answer

Yes, there are a large number of hotel and airbnb options in the Champaign/Urbana area, as well as in the surrounding towns. We do suggest to book early as there is a home football game on Saturday (8/27).

What if I don't want to drive to the Pear Tree Estate

Answer

Please reach out to Eric or I (Colleen) as we can provide a Uber events code for you to use for transport. However, if you want use a different service or do your own thing, both Uber and Lyft services are readily available in the area.

What if I need a ride home after the reception, but I drove my car there?

Answer

You can leave your car in the parking lot at the Pear Tree Estate if you are not able to drive back home or to your hotel. Eric and I (Colleen) will also have an Uber event code for you to use. If you want to book your own ride, both Uber and Lyft services are readily available in the area. The Pear Tree bar servers will also be able to provide you contact information for travel services.
