What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking everyone to dress in a renaissance attire. For ideas on outfits please see our Pinterest board (https://pin.it/2HObYfnZA). Please make the dominant color of your outfit correspond to your association with the bride or groom. The colors are: Adair: Ruby Butler: Lapis Bowles: Emerald Friends of the Bride: Gold Friends of the Groom: Amethyst

Is this a wedding ceremony?

Answer

The short answer is no. The ceremony will be held at an earlier date, with only parents in attendance. We invite you to celebrate our marriage at the reception, where details of the ceremony will be shared.

Will there be food & drink?

Answer

The short answer is yes! We will make sure everyone is fed and thirst is properly quenched. Food will be inspired by Renaissance festivals; meat and corn will abound! There will be a buffet where the most common eating restrictions are accounted for (gluten-free, vegetarian, and nut-free options, provided.) If you have additional eating restrictions please let us know.

Nope, you are free to sit where you wish.

Speeches?

Answer

We will not be featuring any speeches. Instead, we would love handwritten letters addressed to the newlyweds. Fill the letter with advice, loving words, or any funny jokes.
