We can thank 21st century dating for bringing us together on a cold December night in South Philly. After hitting it off over our shared love of podcasts on Hinge, we took things for a spin IRL and met up at the Pub on Passyunk East for drinks. What followed was a night of banana bread beer, shots of tequila and trash talking Ben Simmons. The rest is history :)

While Dan's original plan of proposing in Colleen's favorite, New York City, was derailed due to Covid (perfect timing, right?), he managed to pull off a perfect surprise proposal in Cape May just a few weeks later. Colleen thought they were just meeting up with some friends to grab drinks at the local Rusty Nail and having a casual sunset photoshoot with photographer cousin, Gina. When the camera came out and Dan got down on one knee, his Plan B fell into place. The night was capped off with a champagne toast on the beach with friends and family - the perfect end to the perfect day!
