When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony will take place on March 13, 2026 at Serra Cross in Ventura. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive a little early to get settled and enjoy the view.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for you to take photos and videos during the ceremony. Please feel free to share your favorite moments with us—we can’t wait to see the day through your eyes.

How long is the break between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We anticipate about a one-hour break following the ceremony. We’ll kick things off with a group photo of everyone—yes, that means YOU! After that, feel free to wander around Serra Park, head down to the beach to enjoy the view, freshen up, or relax before the reception begins. Bright Spark doors will open at 11:00 a.m. The official reception starts at 12:00 p.m. If you are on the shuttle, we'll take you down to Harbor Cove Beach between the ceremony and the reception to enjoy the beach.

What's the vibe of the reception?

Answer

Think laid-back brewery vibes—grab a drink, enjoy a relaxed meal, and settle in for the classic wedding moments like toasts, our first dance, and cake. Seating will be mostly open and unassigned, with reserved seating available for comfort and accessibility. Feel free to mingle, move around, and make yourself at home.

Will there be activities for kids at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a few kid-friendly activities available. We kindly ask that parents please keep their children within eyesight at all times so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration.

How will we know when the shuttle is coming and going from the hotel?

Answer

The shuttle will depart from the Marriott Harbor at 9:00 AM and the Crowne Plaza at 9:15 AM. We’ve planned these times to make sure everyone arrives at the ceremony on time and with plenty of time to spare.

We love food - what is the food situation?

Answer

We do too! At Bright Spark, we will have snacks and drinks available starting around 11:00 a.m. A full lunch will be served around 12:15 p.m. There will be a designated lunch section for our friends and family who requested gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options. We will have a designated lunch section for our friends and family who are kids. For those with special diets like gluten free, vegan and vegetarian, we have you covered. We'll have a lunch buffet style and special diets will have a dedicated section clearly labeled.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

There’s no official after party, but you’ll likely find the newlyweds enjoying the dueling pianos after 8:00 p.m. at Moofish Café inside the Crowne Plaza. Feel free to join if you’re still up for more fun! 🎹🍸

What is the plan for the shuttle?

Answer

We've arranged a bus to pick up guests at Marriott Harbor hotel and Crowne Plaza hotel. The shuttle will leave Marriott at 9am and the Crowne Plaza at 9:15 a.m. The shuttle will leave Serra Cross at 11:00 a.m. The shuttle will leave Bright Spark at 3:30 p.m. Sean Jameson, Charlie's cousin, will be our shuttle captain.
