We first met in 2018 while working at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Brandon was wearing a boot on his foot at the time, and his off-balance walk often had him bumping into me. At first, I thought it was his way of flirting—but I soon realized that it was simply just him lol. Our first date was at The Cheesecake Factory, where we shared dinner and then spent hours talking in the car afterward. It felt effortless, like we had known each other forever. Just a few months later, on June 2, 2018, Brandon asked me to be his girlfriend in the most creative way. During a game of beer pong (minus the beer), he had written a word under each cup, and as he made every shot in perfect order, the message came together: “Will you be my girlfriend?” To this day, that was the last time he won a game… kidding.. sorta.. (if you know me, you know I always win games). Now onto our engagement story—on February 10, 2025, we got engaged in Iceland! While visiting the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall in the southwest part of Iceland, Brandon led us to a quiet spot away from the crowd. He asked me to take his picture, and as I focused on the camera, he suddenly dropped to one knee. At first, I didn’t even realize what was happening—I thought I was just snapping photos of him. But then it clicked, and I managed to capture the sweetest candid shot of him proposing. Of course, I said yes!
