Question
Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we are limited by price and space, so unless their name is on the invitation or in the Zola RSVP, we are not having kids at our wedding. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited, which will mainly include direct family and members of the wedding party. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourselves!

What is the attire?
Answer
We want you to be comfortable! but still be able to look your best. Cocktail attire would be great! And as usual please refrain from wearing white, but also dark green suits!

Will there be parking?
Answer
There will be parking on sight. Guests can feel free to carpool as well. Cars can be left until the next morning if needed. We want everyone to be safe!

What kind of shoes should I wear?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, but the reception will be inside, so its up to you The ground shouldn't be too soft this time of year. Dance Crocs are acceptable. As long as they are in sport mode.

What is the bar situation?
Answer
No outside alcohol is permitted per the Cedar Run’s requirements and license, however, the venue provides an open bar with beer, cider, wine, soda, and water

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony/reception?
Answer
We kindly ask you to leave the ceremony pictures to the professionals. However we would love to see all your reception pictures!

Answer
About 20 minutes away is the Tru by Hilton Manassas where we have a room block. When should we arrive?
Answer
With the ceremony beginning at 4:30 pm we ask you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to then. That way by the time the wedding party is walking down the aisle, people are settled in their seats. And if your significant other identifies as a passenger princess we ask you to aim for 30 minutes prior

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus on, you will see it on your invite, and when you RSVP on the site. If you do not have one we ask that you please refrain from bringing one as we have limited seating and would like to celebrate with the people closest to us!

Will there be transportation to the venue from the hotel?
Answer
Unfortunately the hotels do not provide any sort of event transportation but Uber and Lyft are always an option if you need a ride. We encourage everyone to please be safe when it comes to driving.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We have to set tables and chairs out as well as let our caterer know a final count a month out. So we ask you RSVP at latest by August 14. If we do not receive and RSVP by August 14, and after plenty of nagging unanswered texts, and you still show up, please bring a folding chair and a sandwich.
