Element of surprise is not an easy feat with Colleen loving to be part of every moment of planning. Austin had a few plans up his sleeve, but nothing seemed more perfect than a getaway weekend to Scottsdale to enjoy the beautiful weather and take in a new city. Austin, the perfect southwest companion pass holder, planned a dinner at the Scottsdale Airport on July 17th. Until arriving at the airport, Colleen was unaware of where she was going and why. While enjoying drinks with a scenic view Colleen started reading the menu and noticed the helicopter experience located on the website. Austin slyly joked that the helicopter was unavailable for the night. The next thing Colleen knows, a helicopter approaches and lands as the manager arrives to escort them to their ride. Shortly after, they were off in the air flying through Camelback Valley. As they are circling around Camelback Mountain, Colleen looks to her right to see Austin has pulled out the Neil Lane Sapphire ring of her dreams. It was definitely a surprise worth waiting for and the perfect Bachelorette Experience (minus Chris Harrison).
