Health Policy

All guests will be required to comply with one of the following COVID requirements in order to attend our wedding: -Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination card OR -Proof of negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event We appreciate your generosity and kindness as we do our best to start our marriage while also prioritizing health, safety, and joy. We understand that the ongoing pandemic or the necessary COVID requirements may make your attendance of our wedding impossible. This will deeply sadden us because we love you and will miss you — but we want everyone to stay safe and feel comfortable. This has been — and remains — an extremely difficult time and we appreciate all of the empathy and grace you have shown us as we find a way to celebrate our wedding that doesn't endanger those we love best in the world Thank you!
Question

Where is the nearest testing site?

Answer

There is a CVS in downtown Milwaukee (intersection of Brady&Farwell) that offers COVID-19 testing appointments. These appointments are often fully booked a few days in advance so please plan accordingly. https://www.cvs.com/store-locator/milwaukee-wi-pharmacies/1650-farwell-milwaukee-wi-53202/storeid=8763?WT.mc_id=LS_GOOGLE_RX_8763

Question

What type of testing can be used as proof of negative COVID-19 results?

Answer

Formal testing results for either PCR or rapid tests can be shown as proof of negative test. Please note that PCR results can take additional time to receive (24-36hrs) depending on the testing volume at the time. We would ask those that are not vaccinated to complete a rapid test on the day of the event, if at all possible, to avoid asymptomatic infections. At-home testing that is not formally analyzed to produce a positive/negative result will not be accepted. Further information about COVID-19 testing and recommendations for timing of testing: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/diagnostic-testing.html

Question

Do I need to bring a physical vaccination card?

Answer

No--a photo or digital record of completed vaccination will be accepted

Question

Will there be someone at the event checking vaccination status or test results?

Answer

Yes, at the entrance to the venue there will be a staff member checking for either completed vaccination card or negative test result. We will work to make this go as quickly as possible but please allow a little extra time before the ceremony to minimize delay.

For all the days along the way
