We met as all Gen Z couples do - on a dating app! It was July of 2020 when Jackson and Colleen matched on Hinge. After a few months of talking, they had their first date in St. Paul and the rest is history. Well actually, Jackson graduated college in 2021 and moved to Florida for grad school. Colleen finished her nursing degree in 2022 and moved to Florida to join the Henningfield family. We lived with Jackson’s sister Sam and her partner Stephen, and we are so fortunate to have that special time in our lives. In 2023, Jackson ventured out to France to play professional basketball, and Colleen moved home to Minnesota to continue her nursing career and be closer to family. Once Jackson was back stateside in 2024, we settled in the Twin Cities. We have been here for 2 years, and live with our cute cats Calvin and Merrin.
