After posting an ad on craiglist looking for band members, Aaron recieved an email from an aspiring songwriter looking for her first chance to chase a dream, and asking if he’d be interested in co-writing. Much to Chelsey’s surprise, he actually responded to that email. A few weeks later, in the dining room of Dats Cajun Restaurant, they sat for hours penning what would be the song to start it all. After writing Aaron’s next single that night, the writing relationship continued as they became close friends. For years they would work together, on and off, writing for fun and for artists, each ignoring the fact that they enjoyed time spent with each other and doing their best to keep the relationsip professional. Writing of heartbreak and sharing personal experiences, they developed an understanding with a bond that could not be denied. Though the stars did not align for some time, eventually they realized the feeling would not go away. One long sappy email later and the rest was history. Throughout their relationship they have shared lifetime memories through their travels, learned to lean on each other while living in separate states and built a foundation for a life of love, music and hot chicken upon moving to Nashville. They cannot express how happy they are to have you be a part of their next chapter, and their best collaboration to date.
