Leo
Father of the Bride
Leo is a man of few words unless you approach him about Chinese politics, economics, poetry and history. He is from the North and his appetite for baijiu shows it. No one is quite sure when his approval of Colin started but Colin has definitely won him over, despite lacking the knowledge in all those above subjects. He loves to travel and is a great cook and Amy is still waiting for Colin to learn his recipes to replicate at home.
Vicky
Mother of the Bride
Vicky is a master of Chinese medicine and have often made Amy cry with her intense acupuncture and messages, but today she will be the one that gets to cry watching her little girl walk down the aisle. Feel free to approach her for a lecture on how lack of sleep and too many hours spent on the phone is the cause of all your health problems
Jian
Father of the Groom
Jian is an ex-surgeon now an aspiring alcoholic IT man who became a Sommelier. Like Amy's dad, he also enjoys Baijiu. Although He has not been strict during Colin's childhood like most Asian parents, Colin remembers a few occasions where he had the internet cut off at 12am while in high school although it is majority his own fault. As both him and Amy are alcoholics, Colin hopes he does not need to refer them to CADs in the future.
Feng

Feng has been the main pillar of support for the family, everything she does whether it's behind the scenes or not we had taken for granted when we were younger but she has given a lot of time and energy to the family. Having lived in Japan for 5 years and worked as a translator and school teacher, if you're wanting any quick Duolingo lessons feel free to ask her. She is also an aspiring editor for skykiwi news (She is not, she is just always on there reading the most random things)
Jasmine
Maid of Honor
Amy's relationship with Jasmine started a long time before her one with Colin. In fact, if you hear Jasmine being called 'Laopo' (wifey) you did not hear wrong. This is just one of the things that reflect the deep rooted friendship between the two. Amy and Jasmine have tackled challenges, taken on new experiences and shared nearly all of life's adventures together and will continue to be there for each other for every future milestone.
Lily
Bridesmaid
Lily and Amy sat next to each other during Mathex class in BBI and a connection quickly formed over discussing Asian TV shows and novels. Despite Lily thinking Amy was Korean and Amy seriously questioning Lily's taste in celebrities, their friendship flourished like a soapy romcom. Lily is a ride or die and one of the only people that understands Amy's dry sense of humor. The bet is on for Lily to be the first one out of the girls to shed some tears.
Wendy

Wendy and Amy have been friends for almost as long as memory extends. They have been through and seen the best, the worst and the least clothed versions of each other. Their friendship is like an old vinyl—no matter how much time passes between plays, the moment the needle drops, they're right back in rhythm to a tune that will never fade. Amy relies on Wendy dearly for her unapologetic opinions on aesthetics and had her help designing the RSVPs!
Joyce

If you met Joyce during a night out like Amy did, you would probably be attracted by her attractiveness, like Amy did. And quickly you will find that she has the personality to match. If you googled what a 'girl's girl' is, Joyce's picture should be right next to it. She will have your back and make your business her business. She shows up with nothing but realness and wisdom and the only thing she will ask in return is probably for you to not touch her bed without taking a shower first.
Leroy
Best Man
Leroy and Colin met in University and quickly grew close after moving to the Leinster in Tauranga in 2017. He is a man of integrity who had won Mr Olympia in 2018 but gave up that career to become an aspiring Orthopedic Surgeon. They use to drive back to Auckland every weekend just to go to the best club in Auckland and have travelled overseas to Octagon where all the girls were hitting on him, but as a Sigma he was unfazed. A true man of integrity.
Kai
Groomsman
Kai is Colin's brother and has always looked up to Colin as his Senpai. From the day he was born, he had vowed to serve him. Although a little shy with new people, he has a lot of friends who enjoy his company. He is also an ex-pro Valorant player and have won many TFT tournaments and prizes like a year's supply of red bull. People have compared him to the likes of Tenz but 100x better at the game and better looking.
Jack

Jack and Colin also met in University and is the 3rd member of the Leinster. Although he is a big joker and ranked Iron in Valorant, he is a smart man who spends his whole day in a dark room looking at images of people's bodies. He currently spends 4 hours a day on aim labs in hopes of reaching KennyS' level. His signature champion to play is Harbor.
Lionel
Groomsman
Lionel was Colin's first friend when he moved to ACG Senior College. They would often spend time over at his Mansion which has the only real golden toilet in NZ. He is an encyclopedia and he is a reserve for the TV show The Chase. He is currently travelling the world and I hope he doesn't get kidnapped and makes it to the wedding.
Mat
MC/ Man of Honor/ Hypeman
I can't tell you what the genesis of humanity is but I can tell you what the genesis of today is. And that would be Mathew (with one T). Mat is an amazing and selfless friend that have brought so many people together through his warmth and generosity. Amy was the last friend Mat made in University and if you approach him with this subject he will tell you the entire story with enthusiasm. Mat is a natural public speaker on the outside but a raw and honest friend on the inside. This will be his MC debut!
