Josh and I met while working for EMS. I was the Assistant Chief, whose job it was to interview him. Needless to say it was not love at first sight. We later confessed to each other that I thought he was an arrogant know-it- all, and he thought I was somewhat abrasive. For a few weeks he was the biggest thorn in my side. He was the energizer bunny that never sat still and always bugged me with corny dad jokes, and telling me how he thinks buying flowers is the biggest waste of money and he would never buy them for anyone. However, we quickly warmed up to each other and soon became best friends. We spent most of our time answering 911 calls and trying to save an old rescue squad from shutting their doors. It wasn’t long before Josh’s persistence wore me down, and I reluctantly agreed to go on a date with him. We had a whirlwind romance. We became glued to each other’s hips. No one could deny our chemistry and pure love for each other. Now, I’m not only marrying the best man in the world, and I can confidently confirm he’s marrying the best girl, but I’m also, proudly and officially becoming a bonus mom to three beautiful children. We can’t wait to see our next chapter of life. Thank you all that have been on this journey with us! We would not be here today without all of your unwavering love and support. P.S, I now get hand delivered flowers, that he meticulously arranges for me, every two weeks, with the proudest smile on his face. Love is beautiful when you find the right person! Now let’s get married!!
