The neighborhood we currently live in! Kooky people, great food, and dog beaches - what more could you want?! Along Newport Ave you'll find a great California burrito at Mike's Taco Club. Check out Sunshine, OB Brewery, or the Holding Company for rooftop drinks. There's also An's Electrics Repair for gelato, Hodad's for burgers, and our favorite pizza spot, Pizzeria Luigi.
A busy area with endless drink and food spots! We recommend Mona Lisa for sandwiches, Morning Glory for breakfast, Vincenzo Cucina for drinks, and Barbusa / Born & Raised / Herb & Wood / Vinarius if you're feeling fancy.
When we first moved to San Diego, this was our backyard. There are tons of museums (SD Air and Space takes the cake), the newly renovated Botanic Garden, the largest outdoor organ in the world, and the Spanish village arts center. Most importantly, the Zoo is there too!
Check out San Diego's downtown harbor with many shops, restaurants, and events. It's close the Rady Shell outdoor concert venue and Petco Park if you want to catch a baseball game.
Pandas.
The Guy Fleming Trail Trailhead is beautiful if you want a short hike that overlooks the beach. There is also Torrey Pines Gliderport where you can grab a drink on the patio and watch hang gliders take off from the cliff.
A great coastal city where you'll find most restaurants and shops along Camino Del Mar. We also highly recommend checking out Powerhouse Park and nearby, ocean view restaurants like Poseidon Restaurant Del Mar and Jake's Del Mar.
