We first met while working together at Boston Medical Center in the orthopedic department. After Colin returned from a leave of absence, fate stepped in on his very first day back which also happened to be his birthday. As we were heading home that evening, a simple birthday wish turned into something unexpected. Just moments later, a name called down the hallway and a request for a Snapchat marked the beginning of our story. From that day on, saying goodbye at the end of each workday became part of our routine. When one of us didn’t come into work one day, the absence was noticed and a message was sent, missing a goodbye that had become familiar. From that moment forward, we became inseparable. On November 20, 2019, a spontaneous hallway moment turned into the start of our forever, and we are so grateful for the journey that led us here.
