Multnomah Falls
This is a must stop along the way from the airport. We recommend doing the short hike up to the bridge. Other waterfalls and hikes to check out: -Shepperd's Dell Falls -Bridal Veil Falls -Angel's Rest Trailhead -Wahkeena Falls -Horsetail Falls
Vista House at Crown Point
Another great viewpoint along the historic Columbia River Highway. A little bit off HW84 but definitely worth it to get a higher vantage point of the gorge.
Beacon Rock Trail
A great hike across the river on the Washington side with cool views of the gorge. We camped in the state park which is a nice quiet campground.
pFriem Family Brewers - Hood River
One of Colin’s favorite breweries. Hood River allows open containers so you can stop in, grab a 6 pack and walk across the street to watch the wind surfers at the beach. Their food is also great!
Solstice Wood Fire Pizza & Bar
Excellent pizza place right by the water.
