Matron of Honor
Of course, my sister is my maid of honor. She is my built-in-bestie, my go-to person when I am feeling both down and up, and just overall my person. She is one of the most sympathetic and empathetic people I have ever met and boy, am I proud to be her sister. We have hundreds of inside jokes, movies that are only good when we watch them with each other (Wall-E, anyone?!), and even more memories than I could ever describe. She is ALWAYS around to be my supporter and I love her both as my sister and my best friend.
Best Man
My best man is, no contest, my younger brother Kyle. He is the most supportive person I know and always has my back. He is quick to protect the people he loves, which fortunately includes myself and McKenzie. Kyle has a huge heart and is always fun to joke around with. Despite countless childhood fights I am extremely lucky to have him as my brother.
Maid of Honor
Faith has been one of the most important people in my life since I've known her. She's laughed with me and cried with me - and everything in-between. Faith is my high school best friend and the reason I survived my teenage years. She is the person I know will bring out the light in me when I'm feeling dark. I could not be more grateful for all that she has done for me throughout our friendship. She is truly one-of-a-kind.
Groomsman
After a bonfire in high school, Jeremy and I became close friends. He was my roommate freshman year at the University of Minnesota (where he always left the window open at night, even in winter) and started my coffee addiction. He is dependable and always pushes me to do my best - whether that's academically or in weight lifting.
Bridesmaid
Mary was Colin's friend before mine, but I stole her! She has helped both Colin and I in ways we cannot even describe. She is a beautiful, warm, loving person with a heart of gold. Colin and I both can count on her to have our backs. She makes the world a better place for those who know her and those she encounters.
Groomsman
Zac and I also became good friends in high school and eventually (along with Jeremy, Nick, and Matt) became coworkers at the Oneida Country Club. From adventures at Oneida to parties (and wine nights) in college, we've made quite a few memories. He is someone I can trust to "tell it like it is", and someone I can always lean on.
Bridesmaid
Sahara and I met as the new kids in the neighborhood the summer before first grade. We've been friends for over 20 years (HOLY COW!) through countless moves through elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. She has never failed to support me in everything I do.
Groomsman
Matt is the life of the party, and he always has been. We became friends while playing high school football together. He once lit a small firecracker in a basement and couldn't put it out and resorted to putting it in a jar and running it outside. Despite his wild side he is also a caring friend and I'm glad to have him by my side!
Bridesmaid
Shelby was Colin's coworker in Mississippi and we bonded quickly. We went through many trials in Mississippi (including living in Mississippi and Colin and I having to shelter in Shelby's apartment every. single. tornado. warning) and it made us inseparable as friends. Although we're living 2,700+ miles apart I can pick up where I left off with her instantly. She shares my dry humor and loves picking on Colin as much as I do.
Groomsman
Nick and I met in 7th grade student council; he is one of my longest friends (both height-wise and in length of time). He is confident in everything that he does and thinks things through very logically. He is someone I can pick up with where we last left off and not miss a beat.
Bridesmaid
Alanna has been in my and Colin's lives for a long long time. Through many silly French projects, movie nights, and adventures to Lambeau Field in high school to adventures in Minneapolis and living with Colin she's always been someone I can confide in. She is a sweet and wonderful person and I couldn't be more honored to have her standing by my side on my and Colin's big day!
Groomsman
I've gotten to watch Brennan grow up since he was nine; I've known him for nearly half of his life and I could not be more proud. He is one of the most down to earth teenagers I have ever met, he has a good head on his shoulders and is all around good-hearted. He is McKenzie's self proclaimed favorite person in the world.
