Even though we both love kids and can't wait to have our own, for this wedding, we ask for all the kiddos (less than 18 years old) to stay back, unfortunately, due to limited space with our venue. Your invite will list who is all invited for our big day!
There will be a designated area for CIGARETTE smoking only! With this being private property and the wishes of the owners of the property, we ask that no marijuana be on the premises. Thank you for respecting the wishes of the property owners!
This wedding will be happening in a Michigan September, who knows if it will be hot or cold so plan accordingly! It will be an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The attire is laid back (the groom and groomsman are wearing suit jackets with jeans and cowboys boots) just be comfortable! The only thing we ask is women refrain from wearing the color white.
The ceremony and reception are going to take place at The Legacy Barn. www.legacyweddingbarn.com Legacy Wedding Barn 5800 N Lapeer Rd, North Branch, MI 48461 We will have a ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour, which will then lead into the reception!
We know this may not be the shortest trip for some of our family and friends, but we will be booking blocks at multiple hotels in Lapeer, Michigan (15 to 20 minutes away from where our wedding will be held.) Please review the "Travel" tab on our website to see the hotels we have been in contact with. If you'd like to book a hotel room, please call one of the listed hotels and mention that you are looking to book a room under the "Peltier Wedding."
Yes! There is a lot of flat ground where it is easy to maneuver around the property and we also will have some bathrooms that are going to be easily accessible for anyone who may need them!

We all know everyone loves to capture the moments, however, we ask during the ceremony that you be immersed in the moment and please stay "unplugged" from your phone. We have a professional photographer to capture the moments that we will share with everyone. During the reception take all the photos you want! We will have a QR code to scan at the reception, that is where all of your photos and videos can be uploaded so we can see everyone's photographer and videographer skills!
Our bartenders’ licensing does not allow outside alcohol. If you bring any, it will be held until the bar closes at night's end and returned to you at that time. Guests who don’t follow this rule will be limited to water for the rest of the evening. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
