Question

Will there be Covid precautions?

Answer

We will not require masks but invite guests to wear them if preferred. All guests are asked to be vaccinated against Covid-19 for the safety of everyone in attendance.

Where should I stay?

Answer

It's up to you! If you prefer a hotel, we recommend one of the two Roxbury Motel locations as they're the closest to the venue and offer a pretty unique experience. For a more traditional hotel (or if golf is your thing) we recommend the Hanah Mountain Resort. There are also many Airbnb rental options in the area. Check out the Travel & Lodging tab for more info. We recommend booking early as hotels and rentals fill up quickly at that time of year.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! On the day of the wedding, we will be providing shuttles to and from the Roxbury Motel (including the Stratton Falls location) and the Hanah Mountain Resort. We will also include AirBnB rentals within 15 minutes of the venue on the shuttle route. The shuttle schedule is available under the Travel & Lodging tab.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! For those who are driving there is on-site parking. However please be sure to arrive no later than 4:45pm on Saturday as it will take a few minutes to reach the ceremony site, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but the Friday welcome dinner and Saturday ceremony & reception will be adults-only events. Kids are welcome at the Sunday farewell brunch!

What's the weather like? Should I bring a coat?

Answer

Late September is beautiful in the Catskills. It looks like we are in for a cooler weekend, with highs in the 50's-60's and lows of 40 at night. The Friday welcome dinner will be outside so be sure to dress warmly! We'll have patio heaters and a bonfire as well. The ceremony on Saturday will also be outdoors, but then we'll move inside for the reception and afterparty. We recommend bringing a coat on both Friday and Saturday.
