When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 3:15pm.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is transportation to and from the main hotel to the ceremony. The main hotel is The Ridgeline Hotel. The shuttles will be picking you up at 2:30pm for our 3:30pm ceremony. Please do not be late! There is only one shuttle time, so if you miss it you'll have to drive yourself. The shuttles will be dropping off at The Ridgeline Hotel around 9:30-9:45pm. The shuttles are operated by Estes Park Trolleys.

Can I still take the shuttle if I'm not staying at The Ridgeline Hotel?

Yes! We encourage it. You may park your car in the free parking garage located at the Estes Park Visitor Center (located here: https://goo.gl/maps/6d2HAYRqqHpjjMP89) This parking garage is about a 0.2 mile walk away from The Ridgeline Hotel.

Do I have to take the shuttle or can I drive myself?

Answer

You can drive yourself! There is plenty of parking at Wild Basin Lodge. However, it is a windy mountain road and encourage using the shuttle service we are providing :)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please make this request on your RSVP. The dinner will be served family style so there is no need to tell us your entree preference, and there will be a vegetarian and a meat option.

How is the weather in Estes Park?

Answer

October in the Rocky Mountains has some unpredictable weather. Please come prepared with layers and check the weather report before arriving! The ceremony will be outdoors, the reception will be indoors. And remember, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER if you are not used to the high altitude! This is important for avoiding altitude sickness.
