Where is the ceremony going to take place? What about the reception?

Answer

We are getting married at Nativity of Our Lord in Bridgeport. 653 W 37th Street Chicago, IL 60609 The reception will follow at Fairlie. 339 N Bell Avenue Chicago, IL 60612 Both are indoors!

2 p.m. - Ceremony at Nativity of Our Lord (Please arrive 15 minutes early to be seated) 5 p.m. - Cocktail Hour Begins 6 p.m. - Reception Begins - Dinner, Drinks, & Dancing 11 p.m. - Reception Ends

Where do I park at the hotel?

Answer

On-Site Parking: Self‑Parking: Located in our on‑site garage at 2121 S. Prairie Ave (connected to the hotel). Guests may enter the garage directly from Prairie Ave and proceed inside to park. Daily rate: $40. Valet Parking: Valet is located at the hotel’s main entrance on Prairie Ave. Simply pull up to the front drive, and our valet team will assist. Daily rate: $60. Off-Site Parking Options: No In-and-Out Privileges Address: 2301 S. Prairie Ave (approximately 0.1 miles from the hotel) Lot A offers both self‑parking and valet options. ($40/day, $60/day) Lot A is connected to the hotel indoors through the McCormick Place pedestrian walkway system. Guests can park in Lot A and walk entirely indoors to reach the Marriott Marquis without going outside. (Park on level 3 for more convenience). Lot B is also part of McCormick Place’s parking facilities. However, Lot B does not have an indoor bridge connection to the hotel. What time is hotel check-in?

Answer

Hotel check-in is at 4pm. You can always call to see if they can offer early check-in. *If you have a room Saturday only, there will be plenty of time between the ceremony and cocktail hour (3 pm - 5 pm) to go check-in to the hotel!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Formal attire requested. For ladies, midi or floor-length dresses or jumpsuits. For men, a suit and tie, jacket optional. Please, no jeans. Bridesmaids will be wearing light blue!

How do I get to the church and the venue?

Answer

Guests outside the bridal party are responsible for their own transportation to the ceremony and venue, both of which have ample parking. You will have plenty of time to check into the hotel after the ceremony if you are staying Saturday night only. There are also plenty of ride share options available through Uber or Lyft.

Are kids allowed?

As much as we would love to invite all of the kids, this is an adult-only event outside of our immediate family. Thank you for understanding, and we hope you can enjoy an adult's night out!

To keep our celebration intimate and within the venue’s capacity, we’re only able to include guests who are specifically named on the invitation. If a plus-one was allotted for you, it will appear on your formal invite. We truly appreciate your understanding!
