We met at Penn State University during the Arts Festival which is one of their popular summer weekends. During that weekend we had both attended a classmate's party and knew right away it wasn't just a college crush. That same night I had asked Erica away from her friends so as to go on a walk and that's where it all began. After graduation, Erica stayed in State College for work and I had returned home to West Chester. That is when the long-distance or semi-long distance began. Erica and I would travel every weekend to see each other and we both knew that being apart for long wasn't an option.
