We first met on a random Tuesday in September when Emily started her first day at Physician's Health Plan where Colin had already been working for a few months. The first time Emily saw Colin, after shaking hands and "nice to meet you" was exchanged, she knew there was something about him that she couldn't live without. A few months passed, and Emily worked up the courage to send Colin a message to see if he was attending the holiday party. Before the holiday party, we had our first date at Starbucks, where we talked until the coffee shop closed, and continued talking in the car until 1:30am. Our second date was at one of our favorite spots, Burger Bar in Downtown Fort Wayne. We later went to the holiday party where we danced, talked, played games, and enjoyed being together. On December 27, 2019, Colin asked Emily to be his girlfriend. Three and a half years and two cats later, we went on an amazing trip to Seattle. Colin asked Emily to marry him in Kerry Park, overlooking the city of Seattle, on May 9, 2023. Since then, we have been impatiently and excitedly waiting to tie the knot on September 12, 2024! We can't wait to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends and start our life together. There is nowhere we would rather be than with each other for the rest of our lives. <3
