Question

Is there parking available at the Houston Arboretum?

Answer

Parking is available at both the 610 Entrance and the Woodway Entrance. Parking is $6.50 Per Vehicle. Arboretum Members receive free parking. Parking fees can be paid via credit card at the parking meters or through the ParkHouston app, available for Apple or Android devices. There are two parking meters at each parking loop.

Question

Is there parking available at The Rustic?

Answer

At The Rustic Uptown Park location, you’ll find free parking available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the adjacent parking lot or in nearby parking garages. Valet parking is also available in the Uptown Park shopping center.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

(e.g., Garden Party Formal – think flowy dresses, linen suits, and shades of blue!)

Question

Can I bring an umbrella or parasol for sun protection?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Since the ceremony will take place outdoors and shade may be limited, guests who are sensitive to the sun are more than welcome to bring a light umbrella or parasol for comfort. We want everyone to feel cool and comfortable while celebrating with us!

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Rain Plan: A backup indoor space is tentatively held in case of bad weather, with a final decision needed 6 hours before the event.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 9:15 AM to get settled and find your seat. You’re welcome to come a little earlier if you’d like to avoid traffic or parking delays. The ceremony will begin promptly, so please be sure to arrive no later than 9:30 AM.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since the ceremony will take place outdoors by a pond, we recommend avoiding spiked or stiletto heels, as the ground may be soft or uneven. Comfy heels, wedges, block heels, or dressy flats are all great options to keep you stylish and steady!
