FAQs

Everything you need to know for our big day!
Question

What are the events of the weekend?

Answer

Please visit the Itinerary tab to see all planned events. Each event includes the full address and start time.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

On the Hotel tab, you’ll find a list of recommended places to stay that are walking distance to the Reception venue. The bride and groom will be staying at The Peabody Hotel. The Peabody Hotel, Canopy by Hilton, and The Residence Inn are within walking distance and will have hotel room blocks. Most guests seem to be staying at the Canopy by Hilton. There are several other hotels located near the reception venue. Please stay at the hotel that is most convenient for you.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RVSP by Septembet 10, 2026. This will help us finalize all details for our big day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail or formal attire. Guests are encouraged to wear floor-length or mid-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy separates. Suits or collared shirts with a tie are appropriate.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided between the ceremony and reception. We recommend driving to the ceremony at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and then heading downtown for the reception at The Columns. If you are staying downtown, you may park your car at your hotel and walk across the street to The Columns. For guests staying outside of downtown, parking is available in a garage on Commerce Street near the reception venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Upon typing your name into the RSVP webpage, you will find the invited guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

To allow all guests to fully enjoy the evening, our wedding will only include children over 13 years old. Upon typing your name into the RSVP webpage, you will see the invited guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception has street parking and a lot in the back of the church. The reception at The Columns has street parking and a parking garage attached to the building. We recommend parking at your hotel nearby and walking across the street to the reception.

Question

What times do the ceremony and reception start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to participate in the couple’s exit from the Cathedral by tossing flower petals as the bride and groom leave the church. Following the ceremony, there will be a break from approximately 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to allow the wedding party time for photos. During this time, guests are welcome to check into their hotels, enjoy drinks at the Peabody or Canopy lobby, or explore downtown Memphis. The reception will begin with cocktail hour from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The wedding party will make their entrance at 6:00 p.m., with dinner and dancing to follow shortly after.
