While our paths technically crossed very early in our lives because Colin was childhood friends with Brittany's brother, our love story began with Colin visiting the bar Brittany was working at dressed in a toga (fitted bed sheet) during Halloween in 2017. Once reconnected we couldn't stop making eyes at each other through the crowded bar. It got to the point that all of Colin's friends left him at the bar that night! By the end of the year it was obvious that we had something special. On December 27th, 2017 we officially began the rest of our lives together. Colin was allergic to cats at the time but he graciously accepted Brittany's foul mouthed cat "Sassy" as his own. The love was abundant however we wanted to throw another animal into the mix. In early 2019 we got "Maverick", our sweet boy who is an old man at heart. As time went on and the family grew Colin knew he wanted to be with Brittany for the rest of his life. In 2020 the world shut down and forced us to cancel our first international trip together where Colin had plans of proposing. In 2022, we realized there was something missing (besides a ring) so we added another member to the family. We adopted a sweet, goofy dog named "Gillie" although most people more accurately call her "Goober". In late 2022, Colin decided to stop waiting for Brittany to propose so he took matters into his own hands. He asked Brittany to marry him with Sassy, Maverick, and Gillie by his side. These 7 years have been a fun, wild, and love filled ride. Everyone invited to our wedding has a part in our story and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
