Colin doesn't remember chasing Brittany, but he's not surprised he did it, she's pretty cute and probably let loose a high pitch squeal as he gave chase. These days, he only chases Brittany on long trail runs, which is arguably harder. In his free time he builds, maintains and rides bikes, skis, hikes and tries to peer pressure Brittany into doing somewhat risky adventure-type activities, to which she mostly obliges. He's pretty stoked to be locking down such a badass chick and can't wait to see what else the future holds.

From the moment he chased her on rollerblades at Top of the Hill shops when they were kids, it's clear that Brittany and Colin were destined to keep crossing paths until one fateful potluck. These days, Brittany spends most of her time on trails, cooking dank vegan food, trying to decide ahead of time what to watch on Netflix rather than scrolling endlessly, working as a Content Marketing Manager, and generally soaking up the Colorado sunshine. She's excited to tie the knot this July, and feels lucky to have such an incredible partner in crime for all of life's adventures.
Jim Raschke
Best Man
Jim first met Colin through mutual friend Chris Bates in college, circa 2006 - 12 years ago?! Wow. Their friendship grew through a mutual interest in outdoor activities like biking, skiing, boating, etc. In 2008 they took a road trip to CO and skied for 6 days - further cementing a lifelong friendship. Jim is excited and honored to stand up as Colin's best man - being asked definitely made his day!
Emma Hudson
Maid of Honor
Emma & Brittany met in High School while attending separate boarding schools. Their fast friendship blossomed when they both attended UW-Madison for college. Their love of travel and adventure soon meant they teamed up to wander through foreign countries starting with a summer spent working in Ireland, back-packing through Spain, Christmas in Costa Rica, and most recently New Zealand. Emma lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, two dogs, and 8 chickens. When she's not working as a lobbyist for people with disabilities at the Capitol, she spends her time hiking through the mountains with the pups. When asked how she felt about the Colin and Brit tying the knot, Emma squealed and yelled, "it's about damn time!!!"
John Frater
Groomsman
John Frater has been Colin's brother for over 5 years and has depended on him for all manner of help and advice with mecahnical and electrical things and even some moral support. The most significant thing he ever did for Colin was introduce him to a smart, funny, amazing young lady named Brittany, for which he deserves little credit as they were clearly meant for each other and fate allowed no alternative. John lives mostly in Fish Creek, WI and changes jobs regularly. He likes playing music, sailing and a few other things.
Samantha Scully-Jordt
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I haven't always been friends... probably because we are sisters. It wasn't until 2007, on a family canoe camping trip that it clicked. We were moving through the great outdoors and it was so much fun to be together. I finally understood how to connect. There is no lost opportunity with Brit. In the face of adversity, she adapts and ultimately elevates everyone's experience through her optimism and humor. Adventures have only gotten better with the addition of Colin. The two of them are ridiculous and funny and inventive together. I am so excited to be standing with these two, celebrating their relationship. Samantha and her long-time partner Blake live in Raleigh, North Carolina where she is a masters student at NC State studying ways to improve stream restoration.
Eric Frater
Groomsman
Eric is Colin’s youngest brother. He lives near Colin and Brittany in Boulder, Colorado. Together, they have a great time doing all kinds of outdoor stuff, from trail runs to ski runs. Eric and Colin are also lucky to work together at Ball Aerospace, where Eric is a Optical Engineer. On occasion, Eric can be seen riding and doing tricks on a tall bike (that he built) with funky lighting around the roads of Boulder. He's very excited for Colin and Brittany’s wedding and their future together.
Hayley Wilson
Bridesmaid
Brittany and Hayley met over two years ago now on a group trail run in Auckland, New Zealand. It was friendship at first sight. Hayley was pretty curious about an epic mountain marathon Brittany was raving about, and that day decided to join her to embark on the biggest challenge she'd ever undertaken. Hayley was super sad when she found out that Brittany & Colin were moving back to the States, but now she knows it's just the beginning of adventures on a different continent. She is sooo excited to be present for Brittany and Colin to make it official! She loves these two - they are kindred spirits with a shared love for adventure. Made for each other. Hayley absolutely can't wait to visit Colorado and explore the mountains!
Scout
Ring Bearer
Scout has known Brittany and Colin for all 3.5 years of her life. Although she always assumed their dynamic trio would be together forever, it's cool that they are making it official this year. Scout is excited to visit the ranch and maybe see a moose, which will by far be the biggest and craziest animal she has ever seen, having been born and raised in New Zealand where there are no native mammals. When not begging for food or pats from Colin and Brittany, Scout enjoys chasing rabbits, eating rabbit poo, peanut butter and long hikes up to windy mountain summits in her new homeland, Colorado.
