Coconut Grove

The neighborhood of Cocount Grove offers lots of places to eat, happy hour deals, and a beatiful area to walk about close to the bay. Recommended places to grab breakfast or brunch are El Bagel, Calisto Cafe, Greenstreet Cafe, and Chug’s Diner. For dinner, you can try Narbona, Le Bouchon du Grove, Amal, Meraki Greek Bistro, or Jaguar. Those are some of our favorites, but there are a lot of highly rated options! On Saturday mornings there is also a large farmer’s market in the area that is a treat to explore.

Coral Gables

Coral Gables, FL

With lots of shops and restaurants up and down Miracle Mile, there is plenty to do in the Gables! Armstrong Jazz House offers excellent food, drinks, and live music. Giralda Plaza is a a beautiful walkway with bars and restaurants on either side of the street to enjoy. Merrick Park is a large outdoor mall with Spanish-style architecture fantastic shops to duck into when you want to escape the Miami heat.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

Check out this beautiful seaside estate and gardens to enjoy an extraordinary piece of Miami history! This is just one of the Deering family estates that has been converted into a museum. There is also a small cafe for when you would like a break from exploring the grounds.

Cape Florida Lighthouse

1200 Crandon Boulevard, Key Biscayne, FL 33149

This lighthouse is the oldest structure in Miami-Dade and has become a cultural landmark. Once in the park, you can enjoy the beach, climb up the lighthouse between 10AM to 12PM, or head over to The Cleat, a seaside bar with amazing views of the bay. The island of Key Biscayne is perfect to walk, bike, or drive around. On your way in is Virginia Key with mountain bike rentals and trails if you are feeling adventurous!
