Some love stories begin with a grand gesture, ours started with two kids who had known each other since elementary school. We grew up crossing paths, sharing memories with mutual friends, and never imagining that one day we’d be planning a wedding together. Fast forward to 2017, Ashtyn needed a friend to ride dirt bike with. Colin volunteered as tribute, and honestly never recovered. One ride turned into nonstop talking (as you all know), questionable teenage decisions, and eventually, in 2018, officially dating at the ripe old ages of 15 and 16 (We like to think we peaked early lol). The years that followed weren’t always easy. When Ashtyn moved to Georgia for chiropractic school, we found ourselves navigating long distance for three years. Those years taught us patience, communication, and just how strong our connection really was. Every reunion felt like coming home, and every goodbye made us more certain that this was the person we were meant to spend forever with. If long distance didn’t break us, absolutely nothing will! In September of 2023, Colin proposed at the place we had our first date, and asked the easiest question Ashtyn has ever answered. That moment marked the beginning of our next chapter, one built on years of friendship, young love, and unwavering commitment. We are surrounded by the people who have been a part of our story from the very beginning, and we can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of you.
