Most of the beaches in Incline Village are private for residents unless you are staying at the Parkside Inn (which sells day passes for $12) or are staying at the Hyatt which has its own private beach. If you would like to hang at the beach you can go to Sand Harbor ($10 entrance fee) or drive 10min to the next town over, Kings Beach, where the beaches are public!

Coffee: If you want local, there is a coffee shop called "Drink Coffee Do Stuff" on Tahoe Boulevard. If you are a Starbucks junkie, don't worry, there is one in town (also on Tahoe Blvd). Breakfast: Fumo, Sage Leaf, Sierra Cafe

Incline Village is located 6,350 feet above sea level. If you are not familiar with the altitude, make sure to give your body time to acclimate through rest and relaxation. It is important to drink a lot of water and use ample sunscreen throughout the day!! Know the signs of altitude sickness: headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, and fatigue. Should an emergency occur there is a full hospital and urgent care center in town.
The weather can be variable up at the lake, but generally, September is mid-70's during the day and mid-50’s in the evening. We recommend that you bring layers and check the 5-day forecast before you arrive to plan accordingly.
For the wedding on Saturday there will be transportation leaving and returning from the Hyatt and Parkside and taxi's available should you be staying at an Airbnb. There is also ample parking at the Chateau and they do not mind if you leave your car there overnight as long as you pick it up the next AM.
