Colin and Amanda meet in 2015, after Amanda’s co-worker gave her number to Colin. Her co-worker’s husband worked with Colin. Colin and Amanda chatted for a few weeks and had their first date on Halloween. It was a blind date and neither had any idea what would happen. The funny part of the whole story is Amanda was over 2 hours late for the date thanks to a long wait at the dealership to lease a car and having a blow dryer break! Colin faithfully waited though! They continued to go on several more dates and Amanda knew after a Mega 80s night out with him and his coworkers, he was the perfect match for her. They had their first kiss on New Year’s Eve and the rest is history! Colin proposed on February 25th, 2018. Amanda and Colin were out running errands and decided to stop for lunch at a favorite local brewery. After drinks arrived, Colin wouldn’t let Amanda drink her beer until after he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Amanda was shocked, but so excited! Of course she said YES!
