To all of our dearest friends and family. We want to say thank you to everyone for your understanding, love and support prior to and during our first year of marriage! While our plans had to change, we could not wait any longer to become husband and wife and did just that at our Pittsburgh home on August 22, 2020! We hoped that at this time we would be ready to throw a big bash, but we are just not there yet. We look forward to making memories with everyone in the future. View our photos, ceremony, and our wedding video below!
We were lucky to have a videographer capture so many wonderful details of our wedding day. Please enjoy this 8 minute video celebrating everything we still got to do on 8/22/2020. Copy and paste the link into your browser. https://vimeo.com/459042426
While we weren't able to have everyone attend our ceremony, we wanted to share it with you all! No fancy edits, just our vows, love and happiness. Copy and paste the link into your browser (were trying to find a better way) https://vimeo.com/457049986/1e70b88441
Hello everyone that we love so much. It hurts our hearts to share with you the fact that we have decided to postpone our Reception, date TBD, 2021. Instead, we will be having a smaller ceremony on our original date and a vow renewal in the future for you all to be a part of. We are trying our best to balance our dream of being married on 8/22/2020 while being realistic that not everyone will feel safe/comfortable to attend a big reception. Based on current regulations we can’t even have a dance floor, and for those of you who have already attended another wedding with us, you know that won’t do! We truly ask for your understanding and patience with us as we still maneuver through this difficult time. We can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you, no matter what day or year it is. We know that this may bring up some questions and while we are sad, we are very open to discussing our decision and anything else you’d like to know. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your understanding and look forward to not one, but two wedding celebrations. Love, The Future Bodnar’s
As some of you may have heard through the grapevine, a nationwide event chain went bankrupt in February 2020. What you may not know, is we are one of the couples that were booked to have both our ceremony and reception at this location. After almost two weeks of feeling defeated and having no answers, we are so happy to share that we have found ceremony and reception venues that we love. However, as you can imagine, this has put us behind on planning and has caused a tremendous amount of stress. We hope that you, our closest family and friends, will be patient with us throughout the rest of this planning process and help us bring our dream wedding to life. We may not have a hotel within walking distance, or everything in one central location, but we envision it to be even better than we could have ever imagined. We truly appreciate all the love and support we have received during this time and we CANNOT WAIT to celebrate our marriage with all of you, in a place that we call home. Lots of love, Alli and Colin
